Join the Film Club for the 2nd annual 18|37 Film Festival!

The opening ceremony will begin at 1pm on May 4th in the Round Room of CFA. Here, teams will pick a prop and a line of dialogue at random that they must include in their short films. The topic, style, rest of the dialogue, title, etc are all up to the teams but each team MUST use their assigned prop and line of dialogue in their films. The films should last from 3 to 7 minutes long.

The opening ceremony will end at 2pm and teams will be off to write, film, and edit their movies. Each team will have 18 hours and 37 minutes to do so. The films are all due by 8:37 am on May 5th.

After this, the films will be sent out to our judges for scoring in a few categories: Best use of prop, best use of line of dialogue, best actor, and best film. All the teams should take naps, get some food, and get ready for our red carpet at 7pm in Kresge Hall! Anyone is invited to this ceremony, even if they haven't made any of the films. We will watch the films that were created for the festival, the winners of each category will get a trophy, and the audience will anonymously vote for their favorite film of the night!

This is a celebration of the film making process, a good way to get experience, and a fun way to spend a weekend here at Knox!
